Artist’s Statement
Not the shape but the space it contains, is the starting point of this sculpture piece. Information technology has changed the way we live and the way we see. The object now assumes a non material presence, virtual models emulate and sometimes surpass reality. Sculpture, in its traditional form appears in this respect, anachronistic.“Peep Show” represents these ideas where the object becomes the monitor for something else, for something that it contains. The peeping hole opens up the space revealing multiples of the spectators eye, looking at him/her self, in an expansion of light movement and reflections.
