This 15 minute Video is prodused by Yiannis Colakides and Helene Black for the Art and Technology festival in Aix-les-Bains, France. The whole work has been authored using Macromedia’s Flash 5.0 and Soundetit 16 and exported in MiniDV and DVD format. It was first presented in Theatre du Casino Grand Cercle, Aix-les-Bains, France on 27 Nov 2001 as a back projection and was combined in the foreground, with choreography by the Hallet Eghayan Dance Company.
The work pays homage to Pierre Soulages’ paintings, especially those he created between 1979-1996.
