Hellenic Bank
Competition
2003
This was a limited Competition for a site specific sculpture for the Head Offices of the Hellenic Bank in Cyprus.
The committee selected my proposal.
Twelve stainless steel flowers are supported on the entrance atrium of the building whilst a thirteenth, a larger computer controlled flower, is installed in the front square. This flower opens gradually during the day and closes when dark. When the flower closes completely, embedded spotlights switch on until the next morning when the cycle starts again.
